Former WWE Star Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné), who negotiated her exit from the company towards the end of 2022 and who reached a deal with WWE in the summer of 2022, when they agreed to release her as a free agent instead of freezing her contract, was removed from a video clip posted on their official Twitter (X) account a number of days ago which highlights a career defining moment from Damage CTRL’s Bayley when she turned heel on Becky Lynch back in 2019.
This is something the company has been doing with their former talents for several years now, most especially if that certain talent hasn’t been in the promotion for quite some time and if that talent is working for the opposition. Moné is not an official member of the All Elite Wrestling roster for now, but AEW President and CEO Tony Khan did reveal on the post-All In London press con that he invited the former WWE Star to attend the show and even hinted that she would be coming in once she’s healed and cleared from her ankle injury.
