After six months away from WWE rings, the Wyatt Sicks delivered a statement performance on SmackDown that reminded everyone why they struck fear into the blue brand’s tag team division. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy represented Uncle Howdy’s faction in their first match since last spring, dismantling the veteran Motor City Machine Guns in dominant fashion.

The Wyatt Sicks Terrorize SmackDown’s Tag Division

The horror began on May 23rd when the Wyatt Sicks crashed SmackDown in chilling fashion. The faction systematically destroyed every team in the division before extinguishing a candle in tribute to what would have been Bray Wyatt’s 38th birthday. That haunting visual set the tone for months of psychological warfare that followed.

The attack left SmackDown’s tag teams scrambling to form a united front against this supernatural threat. Street Profits, Motor City Machine Guns, DIY, and Fraxiom all recognized they needed to work together to combat Uncle Howdy’s disciples.

Motor City Machine Guns Step Up as Veterans

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin took it upon themselves to lead the charge against the Wyatt Sicks. As the most experienced team in the division, the Machine Guns felt responsible for protecting their fellow competitors from this sinister force.

Their veteran status and decades of combined experience made them the logical choice to test the waters first. Unfortunately for the Detroit natives, experience couldn’t overcome the dark energy surrounding Lumis and Gacy when they finally stepped between the ropes.

Lumis and Gacy Deliver Dominant Performance

The match showcased everything that makes the Wyatt Sicks dangerous inside the squared circle. Dexter Lumis brought his signature silent intensity, while Joe Gacy displayed the calculated aggression that’s defined his WWE run under Uncle Howdy’s guidance.

Their teamwork proved flawless as they systematically broke down the Machine Guns’ high-octane offense. The victory sent a clear message to the entire SmackDown locker room: the Wyatt Sicks haven’t lost a step during their extended absence.

What’s Next for SmackDown’s Tag Division?

With the veteran Machine Guns falling to the Wyatt Sicks, the remaining teams must be questioning their chances against Uncle Howdy’s faction. The psychological advantage now firmly belongs to the horror-themed stable, who proved their ring rust won’t be a factor moving forward.

The dominant return raises serious questions about who can possibly stand against this supernatural force – will DIY, Street Profits, or Fraxiom fare any better than the seasoned veterans who just fell victim to the darkness?
