Absent AEW Star Reportedly Not Behind The Devil Character

The Devil storyline in All Elite Wrestling, which was first introduced at last year’s AEW All Out PPV Event, when reigning AEW World Champion MJF revealed himself as the mystery character as he was going after the AEW World Title, is one of the most, if not the most exciting and interesting storylines in company history and the history of pro wrestling.

AEW brought the storyline back a number of months ago and The Devil and his men have been attacking a number of stars backstage including “Switchblade” Jay White, AEW World Trios Champions Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Hangman” Adam Page.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Hangman Page, who was attacked this past Wednesday on Dynamite when he slammed onto the windshield of a car, will be off of television for several weeks to sell the attack. It was also noted on the report that a higher-up in AEW ruled out the possibility of Jack Perry being the Devil character despite the similarity in the way he attacked HOOK at All In. It was also believed that Britt Baker was the person behind the Devil character, but that has been ruled out as well.
