AEW All In London Close To Breaking Another Record

All Elite Wrestling is set to hold their All In PPV from inside Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday, August 27th and so far no matches have been announced yet for a show taking place in the U.K. for the first-time-ever and a show taking place in a stadium that can hold up to 90,000 fans and will be the biggest attended show in company history.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW’s All In London show has sold just over 75,000 total tickets, with the total seating capacity now being moved up to 88,000 seats. Meltzer also noted that 68,000 of those tickets are paid by the AEW fans, which would make for a total gate of $8.6 million all in all and this would also result in the show having the 7th largest verified attendance in pro wrestling history. Meltzer then noted that if the promotion can move 6,000 more tickets, then they will be able to break the all-time attendance record for a paid PPV, which is 80,709 fans for the WWE WrestleMania 32 Event and that with a strong card, the record is within reach and despite it being difficult to break the record of 79,800 paid fans it isn’t impossible, though it seems that AEW will almost surely be able to top the 78,000 paid fans at WWE WrestleMania III.
