AEW And Indie Wrestler Megan Bayne Suffers A Torn ACL

Top Indie wrestler and AEW Star Megan Bayne, who was trained by pro wrestling legend Al Snow and made her pro wrestling debut in a dark tag team match in Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2017, will reportedly be out of in-ring action for nine months as she suffered a torn ACL. The unfortunate and tragic news was first reported by RedLeafRetrocast, saying that it was Megan Bayne herself who revealed her injury at this past Sunday’s IWTV/WWR Galentine’s Day Event.

Megan Bayne has competed on the independent circuit since 2018 and she has also competed in All Elite Wrestling numerous times, mostly as a competitor on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation. On the January 3rd, 2022 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, Bayne got her first-ever win in AEW, when she beat Leila Grey in Women’s Division Singles action. Megan Bayne last competed for AEW at the promotion’s latest round of television tapings, where she faced Tiffany Nieves in a Women’s Division Singles Match.
