AEW And NJPW’s Forbidden Door 2 Date Has Been Revealed

AEW and NJPW held their Forbidden Door PPV on Sunday, June 26, 2022, with several huge matches taking place on the show and a number of huge stars competing on the event. The card was stacked from top to bottom, which was headlined by Jon Moxley taking on “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi in an Interim AEW World Championship Match, with Moxley walking out as the Interim AEW World Champion. The show was a massive success and it was believed at the time that this will be an annual PPV Event.

According to Spectrum Cable, AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door 2 PPV will take place on Saturday, June 23 from a location that has yet to be revealed. As of this writing, AEW has not officially announced the Forbidden Door 2 PPV Event, but it will be interesting to see which top NJPW Stars will appear during this year’s show, though one possible star AEW would be interested in working with is none other than IWGP Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné.
