AEW Announces Dark: Elevation With Paul Wight On Commentary

It was previously reported that professional wrestling veteran and former WWE Superstar Paul “The Big Show” Wight has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling. Big Show’s deal states that he has signed a long-term deal with the company to be a commentator on AEW’s brand-new show called Dark: Elevation, and that he will also be wrestling at some point in the future.

Speaking of AEW Dark: Elevation, the promotion announced that AEW Dark: Elevation will be their third show and that it will compliment the main AEW Dark program that airs every Tuesday night at 7PM ET on the company’s official YouTube channel. It was also announced that AEW Dark: Elevation will “showcase AEW’s established and rising stars and the top indie wrestlers within the industry, competing against each other.

Based on the announcement, AEW Dark: Elevation will also maintain the continuity with Dynamite, Dark, PPVs and other streaming events, with wins and losses of the wrestlers factoring into their ranking.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to his Twitter and noted that AEW Dark: Elevation will begin its broadcast on YouTube soon, but no date has been confirmed yet. It was also revealed the show will air every Monday night at 7PM ET on AEW’s official YouTube channel.
