AEW Announces Lance Archer Has Signed With The Company

It was recently announced by All Elite Wrestling that former WWE, TNA/IMPACT Wrestling and NJPW Star Lance Archer (Lance Hoyt) has signed a multi-year contract with the company. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan would then say that Lance Archer is unpredictable, dynamic and explosive, making him perfect for AEW.

There were reports made back in late January by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated that Top NJPW Star Lance Archer (Lance Hoyt) was currently in “high-level talks” with All Elite Wrestling Officials about possibly joining the company sometime in the near future.

From 2004-2009, Lance Archer worked for TNA. Archer was then with the WWE from 2009-2010. From 2010-2015, Lance Archer would then compete for NJPW. Archer would then leave NJPW in 2015 and have a brief run with Pro Wrestling NOAH. Archer would then come back to NJPW in 2017, where he would hold the IWGP United States Title on one occasion and the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles on three occasions. Archer would have his best year with NJPW in 2019.

There is no word yet on when Archer will be making his debut for All Elite Wrestling, but updates will be provided once it is made available.
