AEW Blood And Guts Dynamite Episode To Be A One Match Show

A Blood And Guts Match has finally been booked to take place on an upcoming episode of Dynamite. Last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite saw a war of words continue between the Inner Circle and the Pinnacle with a parley being announced for both teams for next week’s Dynamite episode as both teams get ready for the massive Blood And Guts Match set to take place on May 5th.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the May 5 episode of Dynamite is building around the Blood And Guts Match and that the entire episode will only have that one match.

Meltzer also said there will likely be pre-taped segments throughout the episode, but the entire episode will be centered around the Blood And Guts Match.

It was also revealed on dailysplace.com that the event will have a 50% capacity with seating pods and that this will be the largest audience ever allowed to be in attendance at Daily’s Place for Dynamite since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Tickets for the May 5th Blood And Guts episode of Dynamite go on sale this coming Monday, April 26th at 10AM ET for $25.

The Blood And Guts Match, much like WWE NXT’s WarGames Match, is set to feature 2 rings inside of one covered cage, where two men will enter the cage for one five-minute round, then every two minutes, we will see another wrestler enter. The match will officially start after all ten wrestlers have entered the cage. The match is only won via submission, it can’t be won via pinfalls, count-outs, or escaping the cage.

A Blood And Guts Match was originally scheduled to take place between the Elite and the Inner Circle, but the match did not push through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s no word yet on other details of the Blood And Guts Match, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
