Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 979,000 viewers, while last Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite was able to draw a total of 975,000 viewers, according to a recent report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.
This total is down 0.40% from last week’s Dynamite episode, which drew a 0.35 rating in the 18-49 key demo. The 0.35 rating is the same from last week’s 0.35 rating in the key 18-49 demo. The 0.35 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents around 447,000 total viewers who watched AEW Dynamite last Wednesday from that demo. This is down 1.54% from last week’s 454,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Shawn Spears vs. Sammy Guevara, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks defending their titles against Jurassic Express, Sting and Darby Allin vs. 2.0 in a Texas Tornado Tag Team Match and “The Demo God” Chris Jericho facing MJF in Chapter 5 of The 5 Labours Of Jericho Match, which was the main event.
The viewership number of last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, which was the second week in a row the show came in at under 1 million views after last week’s Dynamite episode marked the end of the 4-week streak the show averaged more than 1 million viewers per episode and which viewership drew the lowest number since the July 7th episode and the first show the promotion had back on the road and which key demo rating also drew the lowest number since the July 7th Dynamite, was up 29% from the same week in 2020, which, at the time, competed against NXT, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 12.9% from the same week in 2020.
This past Wednesday night’s Dynamite ranked #4 on the Cable Top 150 with the 0.35 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, while Dynamite ranked #38 in viewership for the night on cable.
