This total is down 20.90% from last week’s Saturday night episode of Dynamite, which drew a rating of 0.22 in the 18-49 key demo. Last Saturday night’s rating of 0.22 is down 21.42% from last week’s 0.28 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This past Saturday night’s 0.22 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents around 288,000 total viewers that watched last Saturday’s episode of Dynamite from that demo. This is down 21.31% from last week’s 366,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Saturday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Bobby Fish taking on Anthony Greene in Singles action, Dustin Rhodes facing Bryan Danielson in an AEW World Title Eliminator Match, Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston in an AEW World Title Eliminator Match, Ruby Soho battling Penelope Ford in an AEW TBS Title Tournament Match, Jungle Boy battling Brandon Cutler in Singles action and Cody Rhodes battling Malakai Black in Singles action, which was the main event.
The viewership number of last Saturday night’s episode of Dynamite that drew the lowest viewership in the history of Dynamite if counting the Wednesday night episodes as well as the lowest viewership for the three episodes of Saturday Night Dynamite that have aired this year was down 23.63% from the same week in 2020, which would compete against WWE NXT at the time and which aired on the normal Wednesday night timeslot, while the key 18-49 demo rating was down 26.66% from the same week in 2020.
Last Saturday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #10 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is down from last week’s #9 ranking. Last Saturday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #40 in viewership for the night on cable, which is down from last week’s #34 ranking. Dynamite last Saturday night had strong competition from the MLB and college football.
WWE SmackDown on FOX’s encore presentation from Friday night that aired on Saturday and went head-to-head with AEW’s Saturday Night Dynamite show was able to draw a total of 632,000 viewers, with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 key demo. The 0.16 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents around 212,000 viewers from that demo. WWE SmackDown on FOX’s viewership was up 9.91% from AEW Dynamite on TNT’s viewership, while WWE SmackDown’s key demo rating was down 27.27% from AEW Dynamite’s rating.
