This total is down 1.21% from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew a rating of 0.37 in the key 18-49 demo. This past Wednesday night’s 0.37 rating is down 2.63% from last week’s rating of 0.38 in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.37 in the 18-49 key demographic represents around 486,000 total viewers that watched this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is down 2.01% from last week’s 496,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
This past Wednesday’s live AEW Dynamite from inside the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana featured CM Punk taking on Penta Oscuro in Singles action, Marina Shafir making her TV debut vs. Skye Blue, MJF facing Capt. Shawn Dean in a Singles Match, Santana, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston taking on The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager and Daniel Garcia) in Trios action, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland taking on Powerhouse Hobbs and FTW Champion “Absolute” Ricky Starks in Tag Team action, AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus defending their championships against reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish) and NJPW Star Minoru Suzuki putting the ROH World TV Title on the line against Samoa Joe, which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, which drew the lowest total audience since the post-Revolution episode on March 9th and the lowest key demo rating since March 2, which was the Revolution go-home show, was down 19.85% from the same week last year, which went head-to-head against WWE NXT, while the key 18-49 demo rating was down 15.90% from the same week in 2021.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #3 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.37 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is down from last week’s #2 ranking. This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #33 in viewership for the night on cable, which is down from last week’s #31 ranking.
