With the looming threat of yet another wave of the pandemic, stadiums and AEW are taking no chances moving forward. Also in the news, Bray Wyatt posts cryptic message on Twitter, and Ric Flair in training. Is a possible match in the cards for Ric…and at AEW of all places?
AEW fans required to wear masks at upcoming shows
According to a report at eWrestling News, an email was sent to ticket holders who had purchased tickets for this week’s following events at Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. Both Dynamite and the premiere episode of Rampage will be held at this location.
The email stated:
“MASK POLICY…All guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.”

This definitely makes sense seeing that the numbers are on the rise yet again, and all over North America, according to various reports on the news.
“You can’t kill it…”
Those were the exact words in Bray Wyatt’s cryptic post on twitter just recently. They have fueled tons of rumors and excitement from the fans, and for obvious reasons.
Just this Monday, the audience in Orlando let themselves be heard during a match featuring Alexa Bliss. The “We Want Wyatt” chants were very loud.
The WWE supposedly came to terms with the release of Wyatt in the last few weeks, but reports have shown that after talking a medical leave, he was in fact cleared to wrestle before the release. This and the fact that he was a top draw, was what made the release so shocking.
So…it seems to one and all that he’s ready and roaring to go; even if it means wrestling for another company, bringing his larger than life “evil” character to a new territory. Perhaps even AEW, as has already been rumored.
Sun’s out, guns out for Ric Flair
Ric Flair has definitely been through it. He was at death’s door just four years ago, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at him.
He was pictured at Hard Knocks South with Rob MacIntyre, John Cena’s friend and training partner, and Ric was showing off quite an impressive set of guns.
The picture has fueled rumors about an in-ring return.
A common theme in WWE as of late, Ric too was released and the AEW rumors are in big supply these days; especially when Doc Gallows decided to wear a Ric Flair style robe on Dynamite last week, shortly after Flair’s release.
Something’s definitely in the works. And even if he doesn’t come in to wrestle, him just being there in a capacity similar to Arn Anderson’s or even Tully Blanchard (who has also kept himself trim and ready to go), would be enough for us. Just seeing Flair out there is a license to print money, folks.
Very eager to see how this all goes. And as for all you fans out there at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, enjoy the shows and stay safe.
