AEW Introduces New Title, First Champion To Be Crowned At Forbidden Door

Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw a brand-new championship title called the All-Atlantic Title be introduced and it was revealed that the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion will be crowned at the AEW and NJPW Forbidden Door PPV on June 26th in a 4-Way Match. The first Qualifying Match took place last night on AEW Dynamite between PAC and Buddy Matthews, which PAC came out of as the winner in order to advance to the 4-Way Match at Forbidden Door.

It was mentioned that the All-Atlantic Championship represents all of the pro wrestling fans watching from all across the globe in over 130 countries and that international wrestlers will be specifically booked for the tournament to determine the first-ever All-Atlantic Champion.

The other Qualifying Matches in the tournament will see Ethan Page take on Miro in Singles action and Malakai Black face Penta Oscuro also in Singles action. NJPW will also be represented and the company will also be holding Qualifying Matches with participants still to be announced. The winners of those matchups will then join PAC at Forbidden Door in the 4-Way Match to crown the first-ever All-Atlantic Champion.
