AEW No Longer Working With IMPACT But The Door Is Still Open

It was previously reported by Ringside News that the working relationship between AEW and IMPACT will be ending immediately following IMPACT’s Bound For Glory Event, but no other details were provided at the time on talents from one company appearing on the other company as over the past number of months wrestlers like Kenny Omega (who also won the IMPACT World Championship) and the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers made appearances for both promotions.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently made an appearance on Wrestling Observer Live and noted that there is nothing booked right now between AEW and IMPACT Wrestling but the door is still open to work with them in the future. There were reports that AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker wanted to work with Deonna Purrazzo in the ring, but it is unclear if that will still happen down the line. AEW Star Christian Cage last appeared for IMPACT at their Bound For Glory Event, where he lost the IMPACT World Title to Josh Alexander in the main event, who in the process would lose his IMPACT World Title as well after Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot Trophy on Alexander.
