AEW Rampage Viewership Up Huge From Last Week’s Episode

Last week’s episode of AEW Rampage was able to draw 378,000 viewers, while this past Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage was able to draw 455,000 viewers, Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports.

This total is up 20.37% from last week’s AEW Rampage, which drew a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This past Friday’s 0.14 rating is up 16.66% from last week’s AEW Rampage, which drew a rating of 0.12 in the key 18-49 demo. Last Friday night’s 0.14 rating in the key 18-49 demo represents 183,000 total viewers that watched AEW Rampage last Friday night, which is up 15.82% from last week’s 158,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo, with a 0.12 rating.

Last Friday’s live episode of AEW Rampage from inside the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey featured boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson making his return as a special guest commentator, “Absolute” Ricky Starks addressing the AEW fans, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Jamie Hayter battling Madison Rayne and Skye Blue in a Women’s Division Singles Match, AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy defending his title against top NJPW Star Katsuyori Shibata and reigning AEW TNT Champion Wardlow and ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe facing The Gates of Agony (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) in Tag Team action, which was the main event.

This past Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage ranked #20 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a rating of 0.14 in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #27 ranking. Last Friday’s Rampage ranked #78 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #81 ranking.

Last Friday night’s AEW Rampage drew the eleventh-lowest total audience of the year so far for a 10PM ET normal timeslot episode and also the ninth-lowest key demo rating of the year so far for a 10PM ET normal timeslot episode, tied with seven other episodes.
