All Elite Wrestling has been running all of their shows from inside their home base, Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Daily’s Place has provided AEW a safe space and environment to run their shows, previously without a live audience, then gradually shifting to running shows at a limited capacity and eventually being able to run shows at a full capacity.
This past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite marked the last show the company will be running from Daily’s Place for a couple of months as AEW is set to make their return to live touring starting this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite with a special Road Rager episode of the show, which comes to us from the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. A week after this Wednesday, AEW will then have Night 1 of Fyter Fest from the H-E-B Center in Austin, Texas, with Brian Cage defending his FTW Title against Ricky Starks as the only officially announced match of the show.
Speaking of Brian Cage, he took to his Twitter account and seemed to vent out his frustration for not being on the Fyter Fest poster despite his match against Ricky Starks being the only match announced. Cage said, “@starkmanjones vs. Cage — only match announced and can’t get on poster after selling out. Ricky’s hometown, and Austin is the wrestling tent that I built. #WrestleCircus”
Wrestle Circus was a popular, yet short-lived indie promotion based out of Austin, Texas, which Brian Cage was a two-time Ringmaster Champion and a one-time Sideshow Champion of. Ricky Starks has been on the shelf since this past April due to a fractured neck, so his match against Cage will be his return match.
