AEW Star Fuego Del Sol Could Be Leaving The Company

One of AEW’s fastest rising Star in Fuego Del Sol, who signed with the promotion back in August 2021, could be on his way out of the company soon as he recently changed the profile picture of his Twitter account to an all-black image, while also removing all references and mentions of All Elite Wrestling and posting only a single tweet that says, “Change is going to come.” Fuego Del Sol would also change his Twitter bio to his booking email in case any promoters are interested in contacting him.

Fuego made his AEW debut on the June 9th, 2020 episode of AEW Dark, when he teamed with Low Rida in a losing effort to Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. Fuego was then involved in a storyline with former AEW TNT Champion Miro, where he had to defeat Miro to earn an AEW Contract and the become the AEW TNT Champion. Fuego ultimately lost the match, but his best friend Sammy Guevara made his way down to the ring and gave Fuego an AEW Contract with the approval of AEW President and CEO Tony Khan.

Fuego Del Sol last competed for AEW on the July 6th episode of AEW Dynamite, when he teamed with Bear Country (Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder) and Leon Ruffin in a losing effort to The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens and “Platinum” Max Caster and The Gunn Club (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match. Aside from his appearances on AEW Dynamite, Fuego has also appeared on a number of episodes of AEW Rampage and he has also been a regular on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, where he was put in a tag team with Fuego 2 (former All Elite Wrestling Star Cody Rhodes). Not only has Fuego Del Sol being competing on AEW, but he has also been wrestling on the Indie circuit like Warrior Wrestling, CPW and Pale Pro Judges, which could mean that his deal with All Elite Wrestling was not exclusive and he was signed to a per show or per appearance deal.
