This past March 18th, AEW Star Matt Lee of 2point0 filed to trademark the “Daddy Magic” term with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for merchandising purposes as well as entertainment services. The trademark filing was done through Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped other AEW Stars file their trademarks as well.
Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, who were known as Ever-Rise in the WWE, made their promotional AEW debut by teaming with Daniel Garcia to face Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston and Darby Allin in a Trios Match during an episode of AEW Dynamite this past August. They have since been part of a stable with Daniel Garcia known as 2point0 and they have recently been recruited by top AEW Star Chris Jericho to form a stable known as the Jericho Appreciation Society and it was in fact Jericho who gave Lee the nickname “Daddy Magic.
