AEW Star Daniel Garcia recently appeared on Evil Uno’s vlog and revealed he has signed with All Elite Wrestling, but he didn’t mention if his deal with the company was a developmental deal or a full-time deal. AEW also usually announces a new signee with a graphic on Twitter if it’s a full-time deal, but they officially did not mention Daniel Garcia’s signing with the company at the time.
AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to his Twitter and confirmed that Daniel Garcia is now All Elite as he came to AEW with a great reputation built through his hard work on the indies and has continued to work hard in AEW and now his hard work has paid off and he is officially part of the promotion. It was also reported by Fightful Select that Daniel Garcia is under a full-time deal with AEW, but it is unclear when exactly he signed the deal with the company.
Shortly after Khan made the announcement, Daniel Garcia took to Twitter and responded when he said he didn’t want to sign just anywhere to say he got a contract as he wanted to go to a company that would make him the best wrestler in the world and he knows in AEW he can duo just that so he plans on being a major player in AEW for a very long time.
Daniel Garcia made his professional wrestling debut in 2017 and competed for several promotions prior to making his way to AEW in August of 2020. Daniel Garcia competed as an enhancement talent on a past episode of NXT, when he losing to Tyler Rust. He has been working for AEW since September 2020, while also competing on NJPW Strong and several other indie promotions. Garcia debuted on the September 15, 2020 episode of Dark, when he teamed with Kevin Blackwood for a loss to The Butcher and The Blade.
Garcia then made his return to AEW in August of this year with a win over Fuego Del Sol on the August 10th episode of Dark. Garcia has since been competing against top stars like CM Punk, Darby Allin and Jon Moxley and has been paired with 2point0 (Matt Lee and Jeff Parker).
