AEW Star’s Contract Set To Expire Soon, WWE Shows Interest

According to Fightful Select, AEW Star Brian Cage’s contract with the promotion is set to expire soon after signing with them back in 2020 and unless he agrees to sign a contract extension to remain with All Elite Wrestling, he will be one of the biggest free agents in professional wrestling. It was also stated on the report that the WWE has sent out feelers to The Machine and they have undoubtedly shown an interest in bringing him into the company, but there is no word yet on if Brian Cage is interested in signing with the WWE as well.

Cage’s AEW contract initially expired this past year before the company decided to pick up his option year, but The Machine was surprised that All Elite Wrestling would even do this as he was not used on TV for months. Brian Cage is one-third of the reigning ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions with Kaun and Toa Liona of The Embassy.
