AEW TNT Title Match Set For Battle Of The Belts Special

All Elite Wrestling previously announced that AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will be defending her AEW Women’s World Title against Riho at the promotion’s upcoming Battle Of The Belts special. AEW has recently confirmed a second title match for their Battle Of The Belts special, where we will see AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes defend his AEW TNT Title against Sammy Guevara. This will be a rematch from the Christmas Holiday Bash episode of AEW Rampage, where “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes defeated “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara to become a three-time AEW TNT Champion.

The Battle Of The Belts special is set to be an hour long show, so it is possible that one more title match gets added to the lineup. This Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which will be the inaugural AEW Dynamite episode on TBS, will see AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page defend his title against Bryan Danielson, so we could either see the AEW World Title defended once again on the special or the AEW World Tag Team Titles could be the ones defended at Battle Of The Belts.

AEW Battle Of The Belts is set to take place this Saturday, January 8th inside the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina and is set to air live on TNT.
