AEW’s Weekly TNT Show Will Reportedly Have A PG-14 Rating

On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that AEW sent out a few details regarding their upcoming weekly show on TNT.

One that was mentioned is that the company will be having a PG-14 rating on their weekly show on TNT. Similar to what the WWE has right now on their programming and not a TV-PG rating. It was also mentioned that the decision for AEW’s weekly show on TNT to have a PG-14 rating was done by TNT themselves.

Even though it was decided and agreed upon that AEW’s product will be much edgier and brutal to that of WWE’s. The company was still provided a set of specific rules that they must adhere to regarding what they can and can’t do. Also given were what lines they must not cross and while WWE’s product was categorized as “sports entertainment,” AEW’s product is being categorized as “sports event.”

AEW has yet to mention what their weekly show on TNT will be called, but AEW President and CEO Tony Khan said at a media scrum at All Out that the show will not just be called “All Elite Wrestling.

AEW’s first-ever show on TNT is set to take place on Wednesday, October 2nd from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.
