AEW Women’s Champion To Be Crowned On First-Ever TNT Show

According to Sports Illustrated, All Elite Wrestling will be crowning their first-ever AEW Women’s Champion during their debut show on TNT. There is no word yet on which AEW Women Stars will be competing in the match, but AEW Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes did say before that the AEW Women’s Title belt will first be revealed at the All Out PPV Event scheduled to take place at the end of this month.

When speaking with Sports Illustrated, Brandi Rhodes did mention that more details on the AEW Women’s Title as well as the combatants for the match to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s Champion will be revealed on a future episode of Road to All Out. Rhodes also said that the AEW Women’s Title will be the cornerstone of the women’s division.

This is what Brandi Rhodes said: “For many female wrestlers, the opportunity to fight for the title represents the crowning achievement of their careers.” “The AEW women’s championship will be the cornerstone of the women’s division.”

“The championship will be treated with the utmost respect and prestige. We hope to inspire future female wrestlers to dream of holding such a meaningful title.”

AEW’s first-ever TNT Show is set to take place on Wednesday, October 2nd from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. from 8PM – 10PM ET.
