AEW’s Miro Reportedly Signs A New Contract With The Company

Former WWE Star and current AEW Star Miro, who made his All Elite Wrestling debut on the September 9, 2020 episode of Dynamite, when he was revealed as Kip Sabian’s best man for the wedding with Penelope Ford, had his original AEW contract set to expire in the spring of 2022. Fightful Select reports that Miro recently signed a new four-year contract extension with All Elite Wrestling, which will keep him with the company until at least early 2026.

Miro and AEW officials reportedly had an agreement on the deal late last year, but it was only signed a little while after that. Miro even confirmed on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show that he has signed a new contract with the promotion, but he didn’t reveal the specifics of his new deal with AEW and the news didn’t even go public until recently.

There is no word yet on when Miro will be making his AEW return, but a new “Miro vs. God” promo aired on AEW Rampage this past December, which could mean that he will be returning to in-ring action soon. Miro last competed for AEW at the Full Gear PPV Event last November 13th, losing a Singles Matchup to Bryan Danielson. Miro had reportedly been dealing with a hamstring injury for quite some time, but it has been revealed that he has been cleared to return for a while now.
