AEW’s Show Scheduled For New Jersey Postponed, Staying In Jacksonville

For a number of months now, All Elite Wrestling has been having their weekly episodes of AEW Dynamite and Dark as well as PPV Events from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida and Daily’s Place has remained their home since, but that was about to change starting next month.

Based on a report, AEW planned on moving to Miami for their weekly episodes of Dynamite and Dark starting the month of February. It was also reported that the company’s Revolution PPV will be taking place in Miami as well, along with the Beach Break special.

An announcement was also made in the past that an episode of Dynamite will be taking place in Newark, New Jersey on February 24th from inside the Prudential Center, but that show has now been rescheduled to take place on September 15th, 2021. This means that any other events previously announced will not be taking place on their original dates and venues as well.

This is reportedly being done due to COVID-19 concerns. Sources within AEW have said that their shows will remain inside Daily’s Place in Jacksonville for the “indefinite future.”

This is the second time that this event has been postponed. It was originally supposed to feature a Blood And Guts Match last year and would have marked Brodie Lee’s promotional debut.

AEW issued the following press release on the postponement:

The AEW DYNAMITE show at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on February 24th has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Fans who have already purchased tickets to the show at Prudential Center will have their original tickets valid for admission to the event on September 15, 2021, or can receive a refund within the next 30 days (until Feb. 14, 2021) via the point of purchase.

As illustrated in our mission statement, the safety and well-being of our fans and talent is always our top priority. AEW sends heartfelt thanks around the world to healthcare and other frontline workers who are answering the call to protect and serve their communities.
