All Elite Wrestling is putting on excellent shows every week. The shows give the fans entertainment and curiosity about what to expect next. AEW All Out was one such event, but the events that followed the media scrum and beyond put the company in hot water.
A backstage brawl ensued between CM Punk and The Elite. The brawl went beyond limits and it raised a concern about the well-being of the performers. One name that did the rounds was Ace Steel. The scuttlebutt stated that Ace bit Kenny Omega, but no confirmation was ever received on the situation.
Due to the turn of events, AEW President Tony Khan suspended all involved in the backstage brawl. It led to The Elite and CM Punk being stripped of the AEW Trios Championship and AEW Championship, respectively. Ace Steel was also suspended due to the involvement.
According to an update from Dave Meltzer on Wednesday Morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Ace Steel has been released from the company yesterday. There is no further information on the matter.
No one can affirm if the others involved in the scuffle will face similar action or if there will be a lenient approach towards the other superstars. Ace Steel worked as a backstage producer and joined the company in 2022.
He was also involved in a segment where CM Punk doubted himself if he should accept Jon Moxley’s open challenge for the AEW Championship. Ace’s entry happened all of a sudden which left the fans perplexed.
What do you think should be the brawl outcome? Sound off in the comments.
