All Elite Wrestling Star No Longer With The Company

Since its inception on January 1st, 2019, All Elite Wrestling has signed quite a number of wrestlers, but have only released a handful of talents as they handle talent releases quite differently than the WWE because the WWE suddenly ends the talents’ deal without even a notice, while AEW will usually let the talents’ contract expire and simply not renew it.

According to PWInsider.com, former Mogul Affiliate member and MLB player Trench is no longer with AEW as his deal with the company has expired and AEW CEO Tony Khan simply decided not to renew it. Trench is one of the most intimidating talents in all of pro wrestling due to his face tattoos, but he never had a chance to make his official in-ring debut with the company even though he had training with Jay Lethal earlier this year. It was reported several months back that Trench had been out with injuries, but he never appeared on AEW TV since then and his profile was recently removed from the roster page.

Due to Trench’s injuries and release from AEW, Swerve Strickland has recently been aligned with Brian Cage, Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun and Prince Nana of the Embassy and they are now known as Mogul Embassy.
