Ambrose’s Name Accidentally Mentioned At TakeOver: Toronto

Jon Moxley (F.K.A. Dean Ambrose in WWE) is one of the biggest, most popular, known, talked about and busiest star in pro wrestling today. When he was still working for WWE, he was one of the top talents on the main roster especially when he was part of The Shield with Roman Reigns and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

Ever since he left WWE, he has wrestled all over the globe including All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. In his NJPW in-ring debut, Jon Moxley won the IWGP United States Title by defeating Juice Robinson. He even entered himself in the G1 Climax Tournament where he finished strong with 10 points under his belt.

Moxley made his All Elite Wrestling debut by showing up after the main event of Double Or Nothing and laying Kenny Omega out. At Fyter Fest, Kenny Omega returned the favor and beat the living hell out of Jon Moxley. The two are set to face each other at the upcoming AEW All Out PPV Event.

Despite Jon Moxley being away from WWE for almost four months now, it seems that he is still being remembered even in a small way. During this past Saturday night’s NXT TakeOver: Toronto II PPV Special, a list of Superstars with their finishing moves were displayed on the big screen and one of those Superstars is none other than Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose), as seen in the tweet below:

Dean Ambrose’s name being displayed on the big screen is clearly just an honest mistake, but WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon can’t be happy about it as WWE and AEW are on the verge of an all-out TV war and brand supremacy.
