Another Former WWE Star Reportedly Headed To AEW

On the June 4th episode of Dynamite, former WWE Star Andrade (now known as Andrade El Idolo) made his debut with AEW when he was introduced by Vickie Guerrero as her new client. Andrade then cut a promo, where he make it perfectly clear to the entire AEW roster that he wants to become the new face of the company.

Last week’s episode of Dynamite saw Andrade El Idolo tell AEW commentator Jim Ross that he and Vickie Guerrero have a surprise coming soon, but it was not revealed what that surprise is, whether it is an announcement of some sort or a new AEW hiring, though fans quickly speculated that this is a tease of another former WWE Superstar making their way to AEW.

Thea Trinidad (F.K.A. Zelina Vega in WWE) added even more fuel to those speculations when she took to her Twitter and wrote, “Hmm 🤔.” AEW President Tony Khan has said in the past that he’s interested in bringing in Trinidad to the company.
