Fightful Select reports that former WWE Superstar Ariya Daivari (now known as Ari Daivari) has signed a full-time deal with All Elite Wrestling, but plans were already set in motion for Ari Daivari for a few months now. Ari Daivari, who made his AEW in-ring debut on the November 12th, 2021 episode of AEW Rampage, where he lost a Singles Match to Dante Martin, has not only been hired as a talent, but also a producer.
Daivari was reportedly the producer for the ThunderStorm vs. Dr. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter Matchup from AEW Dynamite a few weeks ago. At the time that Ari Daivari was under contract with WWE, he would compete regularly on the WWE 205 Live brand and he would even get a trial run as a producer, but that only lasted for about three months. Daivari was originally released from WWE in June of 2021 after he first signed with the company as a competitor in June of 2016.
Ari Daivari has had a number of appearances for AEW over the past few months, including the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV, where he and Slim J beat The Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger and Eli Isom) in Tag Team action. Daivari has since formed the Trustbusters, which consists of himself, Slim J, Parker Boudreaux and Sonny Kiss.
