All Elite Wrestling held their All Out PPV Event last September 4th from the NOW Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Immediately following the All Out PPV Event, a media scrum would take place and a major brawl would ensue between CM Punk, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Ace Steel following CM Punk’s comments on The Elite and that would lead to AEW stripping Punk and the Elite of their championships and being suspended indefinitely alongside AEW producer Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa and Brandon Cutler.
An investigation is being held on the major brawl that ensued following AEW All Out and at the end of the entire thing it will be decided who was right and wrong in the incident. There are a number of CM Punk fans who came to his aid and defended his actions at the post-All Out media scrum, but there are reportedly more fans who are defending The Young Bucks over CM Punk.
Wade Keller recently took to an episode of his PWTorch.com audio show and revealed that Matt and Nick Jackson are not seen as abrasive personalities and they are liked by many backstage and they are seen as passive aggressive, but not as a**holes. Keller also said people who don’t like Punk have more bad and negative things to say about him than people who don’t like the Young Bucks and that Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson may rub certain people the wrong way, but they are far from being jerks.
This is what Wade Keller said:
“The Bucks are not seen as abrasive personalities.” “Passive aggressive, yes there’s some aspects of that…They’re not seen as a**holes. People who don’t like Punk have more negative things to say than people who don’t like the Bucks have to say about them in terms of their characterization.”
“The Bucks might rub people the wrong way or not be their type of people or whatever but they’re not jerks and that’s kind of part of the dynamic here. I think some people looked at Punk here and said, ‘you might not like that they are not taking your advice [or] you might think oh, that comment didn’t need to be made’…it’s hard for people to imagine Matt and Nick deserving that kind of call out publicly in a context that should have been about celebrating a World Title win and a really good pay-per-view.”
Several AEW Stars who were given an indefinite suspension are no longer suspended such as Christopher Daniels and Michael Nakazawa, but the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Ace Steel and CM Punk are still under a suspension until the investigation is concluded.
