Bret Says Double Or Nothing Appearance Was A One-Time Thing

WWE Hall Of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart made an appearance for All Elite Wrestling at the company’s Double Or Nothing PPV Event this past May 25th. He unveiled the AEW World Title belt for the first time ever. AEW originally wanted WWE Hall Of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair to do the unveiling, but Flair’s health at the time prevented that from happening.

The Hitman was recently interviewed by Ariel Helwani on his Ariel Helwani MMA Show and was asked what is next for him when it comes to All Elite Wrestling. Bret Hart said that he is a big fan of the promotion, but what he did at Double Or Nothing was a one-time thing.

This is what Bret “The Hitman” Hart said:

“It was convenient the first time. I’m a big fan of the promotion, and I like a lot of the wrestlers that are there, and I think it’s good for the industry if there’s another wrestling company besides WWE. At the same time, it was a one-time thing, mostly because I was in the area. But I do have a lot of fondness for what they’re trying to do, and I support them. I hope they become a real big wrestling company in the next year.”

The first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at this coming Saturday’s AEW All Out PPV Event when Chris Jericho and “Hangman” Adam Page goes one-on-one. You can check out Bret Hart’s full comments in the video below:
