Britt Baker Reportedly Extends Her Contract With AEW

In January of 2019, Dr. Britt Baker first signed with All Elite Wrestling and she has been one of the most, if not the most dominating wrestler the company has seen. Baker made her AEW debut on May 25th, 2019 at the company’s inaugural PPV Event known as Double Or Nothing, where she beat Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae and Awesome Kong in a Four-Way Match. Baker then went on to become the AEW Women’s World Champion at the 2021 Double Or Nothing PPV, when she beat Hikaru Shida.

At the Fyter Fest special episode of AEW Dynamite just two months later, Dr. Britt Baker successfully retained her AEW Women’s World Title against Nyla Rose. Baker most recently retained her championship against Red Velvet on the debut episode of AEW Rampage.

F4WOnline.com reports that Britt Baker has agreed on a contract extension with AEW and a news article that was first reported by Fightful Select, citing AEW sources, mentions that the length of Dr. Britt Baker’s new agreement with the company or her original deal that was just changed or modified was not disclosed.

This past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite saw AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker take part in a backstage interview segment with Tony Schiavone, where she said she had news regarding a free agent signing in AEW, but revealed that she was the signing. AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker will be defending her AEW Women’s World Title against Kris Statlander at this Sunday’s All Out PPV.
