Cain Velasquez To Team With Cody At TripleMania, AEW Rematch

It was recently announced by AAA that Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez will be making his pro wrestling in-ring debut on Saturday, August 3rd at their TripleMania XXVII PPV Event from The Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. He will team up with AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown to go up against the trio of Texano Jr., Taurus and a mystery partner in Six-Man Tag Team action.

TripleMania XXVII will also see a rematch from this past Saturday night’s AEW Fyter Fest PPV Event takes place when The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega team up to take on The AAA World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) and The Laredo Kid in yet another Six-Man Tag Team Match. A Hair vs. Mask Match was previously announced for the event between Blue Demon Jr. and Dr. Rey Wagner Jr.
