CM Punk Explains Initials On The Sneakers He Has Worn Recently

Former WWE Superstar and newly-signed top AEW Star CM Punk has had a total of two appearances for All Elite Wrestling, the first of which was the First Dance special episode of AEW Rampage in Chicago for his highly-anticipated AEW debut and return to pro wrestling and the second was his Dynamite debut on the August 25th episode from the UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his appearances on both shows, CM Punk was seen wearing sneakers, with various initials on them, which led to rumors and speculations from fans that Punk was teasing the AEW debuts of top talents like Bray Wyatt (BW), Adam Cole (AC), BD (Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan) and RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair (CF).

Speaking with Joseph Staszewski of The New York Post, Punk gave an explanation on what those initials on his sneakers stood for. According to Punk, he stole the idea from NBA Star LeBron James as several basketball players write messages on their shoes and he wrote AC on one side of his shoes as it stood for Always Chicago and CF on the other side as it stands for Chicago Forever.

Punk also wrote the BW and BD initials during his appearance in Milwaukee for Dynamite, but he didn’t explain what those initials stood for.
