Cody Rhodes On Why Orange Cassidy Was Hired & More

All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes recently took part in a fan Q&A on Twitter where he talked about when the next announcement will be for a match at AEW All Out, why Orange Cassidy was hired, and where his dream venue is for a future AEW event.

Cody Rhodes was first asked when the next announcement will be for a match at AEW All Out.

This is what Cody Rhodes said: “(whispers) Friday.”

Cody Rhodes was then asked why Orange Cassidy was hired.

This was Cody Rhodes’ response: “Easily. He’s a great & fun pro wrestler. The show is 100% sports-based, but the competitors are vastly different in style and delivery.”

Cody Rhodes was lastly asked what venue in Atlanta would he like a future AEW event to take place in.

Cody Rhodes said: “State Farm. Georgia hasn’t had a true homecoming style show since the Goldberg’ nitro. TNT being based in Atlanta, it would be a helluva party.”

Cody Rhodes was also asked a few other questions including Former WWE Superstar Bob Holly mentoring him. The question that was asked is if Bob Holly was a good mentor for him to have early in his WWE career.

This was Cody Rhodes’ response: “I would say so. Took me to the gym…a lot. Was protective of me in the ring too. Also, didn’t sugarcoat how green and unprepared I was. I needed that.”
