Cody Rhodes to Highlight This Weeks Dynamite, Ring Return

All Elite Wrestling announced on Friday that The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will return to the ring for his first action since Full Gear this week on Dynamite from Chicago.

Rhodes took a brutal beating, suffering a nasty gash in his title match against AEW Champ Chris Jericho in Baltimore. As a result, he wasn’t cleared to compete right away. However, he appears ready to rock, just in time for AEW who suffered its first ratings loss to WWE NXT this week. Yet, it wasn’t a typical NXT show with WWE standard-bearers like RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins making an appearance.

Rhodes will make his triumphant return at the Sears Centre, the place which seemed to launch the idea of AEW in the first place with the All In show of 2018 and the huge All Out show this past summer.
