Cody Says Not Winning 2012 MITB Is Unanswered Prayer Moment

All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes recently took to Twitter and responded to a fan who said that he should have won the 2013 Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

According to Cody, 2012 was the year he was supposed to win it, but that changed just hours before the show even began. Cody Rhodes also said that it was one of those “unanswered prayers” moment.

This is what Cody Rhodes said:

“2012 was the year I was winning it, and that changed hours before showtime. One of those “unanswered prayers” moments though. That hardship shaped the prickly psycho I’ve become today ha. Another good memory.”

Cody Rhodes also talked about his WrestleMania 31 Ladder Match where WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett defended his WWE Intercontinental Title against R-Truth, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley), Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) and himself when he was still Stardust.

This is what Cody Rhodes said:

“Special match. Just grouped the hungriest guys into a multi-man and see what happens. It was an honor to be a part of this, DB gave us all quite a rub here. Good memory.”
