Dax Harwood Hints At Backstage Heat With The Young Bucks

FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) are considered by many as two of the greatest tag teams in the history of pro wrestling and they are also two of the top teams in all of AEW, but with their status as possibly two of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history one can not ignore the fact that there could be jealousy and dissension between them as there have been rumors that there is backstage heat between FTR and The Young Bucks.

A fan took to Twitter and wrote the following, “people who actually think the young bucks are burying FTR or are scared of them in some way are the biggest losers on wrestling twitter.” Dave Meltzer then responded to the fan with, “Actually they are people who learn from Alex Jones types and can’t read.”

The “Alex Jones” reference from Meltzer could be him alluding to the fact that Jim Cornette and Brian Last have revealed that Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson have been burying Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. Harwood did not take kindly to what Dave Meltzer said and he wrote, “Dave, with all due respect, f**k off. Like, in the most respectful and loving way, I mean that.” “When you decide to get two sides of a story, then speak on it. Thanks dude.” Jim Cornette and FTR have been friends for a number of years now, but Harwood revealed back in 2020 that they got heat for appearing on Cornette’s podcast.

FTR and The Young Bucks were reportedly set to face each other for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, but that match never took place and instead, the Bucks dropped the AEW World Tag Team Titles to Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland as there is reportedly a major angle planned for Matt and Nick and it does not involve the AEW World Tag Team Titles or another match against FTR. It has been speculated that they will be part of the AEW World Trios Title Tournament and they could even end up as the inaugural champions. During this past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, “Hangman” Adam Page seemingly reunited with Matt and Nick Jackson after Adam Cole and reDRagon turned on them so it looks like a match between FTR and The Young Bucks is not happening anytime soon and “Hangman” Adam Page could team with The Young Bucks in the upcoming AEW World Trios Tournament.
