Double Or Nothing Stadium Stampede Match Production Details

The main event of this past Sunday night’s Double or Nothing PPV featured the Stadium Stampede Match, where the Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) secured the huge pinfall victory over the Pinnacle (MJF, FTR, Shawn Spears and Wardlow). The match saw Guevara hitting Spears with a 630 splash to secure the win for his team.

According to Fightful Select, majority of the Stadium Stampede Match was filmed on the Thursday prior to Double or Nothing with additional footage filmed on the Friday prior to Double or Nothing. With so much footage taped for the Stadium Stampede Match, the quick turnaround of the editing process really impressed the company officials as well as the other higher-ups and the way the taped footage was put and fused with the live element was really something spectacular that the officials in AEW were happy about.

Top AEW Star Chris Jericho took part in a media scrum following Double or Nothing, where he mentioned that AEW even brought in one of the stunt coordinators of the John Wick movies to help them with some of the fight scenes to make it look more like an action movie.
