All Elite Wrestling recently took to Twitter and made a huge announcement that due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, this coming Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite will now be emanating from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, instead of the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. This coming Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite will reportedly follow a “restricted attendance policy.”
All Elite Wrestling also announced that the Blood And Guts episode of Dynamite, which was originally supposed to take place from inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday, March 25th will now be moved to a new location that has yet to be announced due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. Dynamite’s Blood And Guts episode will also be airing live on TNT but managed under a “restricted attendance policy.”
AEW also noted that on Wednesday, July 8th, they will be returning to Rochester, New York for an episode of Dynamite. Fans who have purchased tickets to the Rochester show will be able to receive a refund, or they can use their tickets on July 8th. AEW will then return to Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday, July 22nd also for an episode of Dynamite and similar to Rochester, New York, fans who have already purchased tickets for Newark, New Jersey can receive a refund or use those tickets on July 22nd.
These changes to Dynamite were reportedly expected following the announcement of New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo that the state of New York is banning most gatherings with up to 500 people or more, until further notice, to help slow the spread of the virus. Also, Newark Mayor Raj J. Baraka announced that the city is advising all non-essential public gatherings should be cancelled for the next 30 days. The city noted that a “non-essential group event” is defined as a gathering of 50 people or more for social, cultural, or entertainment events where people are not separated by physical space of at least 4 feet.
