Former AEW Star Announces Retirement From Wrestling

Sadie Gibbs, who previously worked for AEW, recently took to her Instagram account and announced that she is retiring from pro wrestling.

Gibbs noted that it has been a really confusing year and a half for her, but she’s always been good at following her instinct and letting go, and having nothing but grace in the path ahead of her.

Gibbs also said that she has decided in order for her to excel in her new endeavors, which is coaching, speaking, teaching, and being the leader she’s always been, she has to let go and set her intentions on what it is she really wants from her life and where she sees long term sustainable fulfillment.

She then said that those doors are now opening and it’s about time she conserved all her energy and focus on this new chapter. Gibbs also noted that her vision is big, starting with short films (action movie scene) and a lot of her plans are centered around her undefinable brand. Sadie Gibbs then noted that fans can visit SadieGibbs.com for her latest news and updates.

Back in 2017, Sadie Gibbs made her wrestling debut in the U.K. before signing with AEW on March 20th, 2019. Gibbs then made her AEW debut at 2019 All Out Event in the Casino Battle Royale Pre-Show Match.

Gibbs would reportedly then be released in August of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic as it made travel extremely difficult for international wrestlers to the United States.
