Four More Members Added To The Nightmare Family Faction

The Nightmare Family is considered to be one of the greatest and most prominent factions in wrestling today, most especially with veterans and legends like Cody Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, Diamond Dallas Page and Arn Anderson being the mentors and coaches of the group. The Nightmare Family currently comprises of Brandi Rhodes, Gunn Club (Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn), Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson aside from the four previously mentioned veterans and legends.

AEW Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes revealed, via Sammy Guevara’s vlog, that four AEW Stars have officially been added to The Nightmare Family faction and they are Fuego del Sol, Red Velvet, KiLynn King and Baron Black. Glacier, Tommy Dreamer and Hollywood Star Stephen Amell are also associated with the group.

In 2014, Fuego del Sol made his debut in pro wrestling. He started appearing on AEW Dark on a regular basis in 2020, but was a jobber at first until he got his first huge win this past July on an episode of Dark, when he teamed up with Marko Stunt to defeat Ryzin and Baron Black. Red Velvet, on the other hand, made her wrestling debut in 2016 for Fighting Evolution Wrestling. This past June, Velvet would then start making appearances on Dark. Velvet is most notably known for replacing Brandi Rhodes, when she teamed up with Cody Rhodes in a losing effort to Jade Cargill and Shaquille O’Neal in a Mixed Tag Team Match on the March 3rd, 2021 episode of Dynamite.

Prior to making her AEW debut on an episode of Dark in 2020, KiLynn King worked for companies such as FEST Wrestling, Generation Championship Wrestling, IGNITE Wrestling and Queens Of Combat. KiLynn King trained with WWE Hall of Famers the Dudleyz at their Team 3D Academy wrestling school. Finally, Baron Black started wrestling in 2009 for promotions such as New South Pro Wrestling and Anarchy Wrestling. He made his promotional AEW debut on an episode of Dynamite against Shawn Spears in April of 2020.
