Friday’s Dynamite Viewership Up After Last Week’s Record Low

Last week’s Dynamite episode, which was the promotion’s second time to hold the show on a Friday, was able to draw a total of 462,000 viewers, while last Friday night’s episode of Dynamite, which was the company’s third time to hold the show on a Friday, was able to draw a total of 487,000 viewers, reported by Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.

This total is up 5.4% from last week’s Dynamite episode, which drew a rating of 0.19 in the 18-49 key demo, which is the same as last week’s 0.19 rating.

Last week’s episode of Dynamite reportedly had the lowest rating in the 18-49 key demo in the history of AEW Dynamite and it also had the lowest audience in the history of the show.

The viewership number of this past Friday’s Dynamite episode was down 28% from the same week in 2020, which at the time went head-to-head against NXT, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 17.4% from the same week in 2020.

This week’s episode of Dynamite will once again be taking place on a Friday prior to next week’s show taking place on Saturday, June 26th.
