Guevara And Harper Appear At A Pro Wrestling Night Event

One of All Elite Wrestling’s fastest rising Stars Sammy Guevara and former WWE Superstar Luke Harper (now known as Brodie Lee) recently made an appearance at Corpus Christi’s Ice Rays’ Pro Wrestling Night Event.

Prior to the hockey game getting started, Guevara and Lee both dropped the ceremonial hockey puck. Lee even practiced with the team a night prior to the event as he was a former hockey player himself.

The Pro Wrestling Night Event featured a wrestling show that was put on by the folks from Gulf Coast Wrestling Alliance. The show even saw MLW Announcer Rich Bocchini (who was Rich Brennan in the WWE) call the action.

This past December, Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) was released by the WWE and is currently on a 90-day no-compete clause, which is set to end by March 8th. There is no word yet on which company/promotion Brodie Lee will end up signing with.

It was reported by Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio that he will probably end up with AEW, although NJPW could also be a good fit for him.

Meltzer also said that when he spoke to the higher-ups in WWE about the situation of Lee’s release. He was told that Lee’s decision is the right one as WWE CEO Vince McMahon doesn’t really see anything in him.
