Huge AEW World Title Match Set For Double Or Nothing

AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page has beaten several top All Elite Wrestling Stars ever since he won the AEW World Title from “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega at the Full Gear PPV last November 13. Hangman Page has then successfully retained his AEW World Championship against stars such as Bryan Danielson, Lance Archer and Adam Cole, but it seems that Hangman’s next opponent will be his toughest challenger to date.

Ever since CM Punk defeated MJF in a Dog Collar Match at the Revolution Event last March 6th, he made his intentions perfectly clear that he has his eyes set on the AEW World Title next and the match was even teased during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, when AEW World Champion Hangman Page made his way out to confront CM Punk after Punk defeated Dax Harwood in a Singles Match. Hangman Page held his AEW World Title in front of CM Punk, while they were having a face-to-face confrontation, but nothing physical would transpire between the two.

The opening matchup of last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Dax Harwood defeat Cash Wheeler in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Qualifying Match. Immediately following the match, Punk made it official that he will be challenging AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page for his title at the 2022 Double Or Nothing PPV.

This is the only match announced so far for the AEW Double Or Nothing PPV, which is set to take place on Sunday, May 29th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
