All Elite Wrestling and the WWE both had a weekly episode of their programming this past Monday night and independent wrestler Manny Lemons made history by appearing on AEW’s Dark: Elevation and on WWE’s RAW on the very same night. According to The Local Competitor’s Twitter account, Manny Lemons made an appearance on WWE RAW as one of the security guards who were in charge of escorting The Bloodline out of the ringside area, while he would appear on AEW Dark: Elevation when he teamed with Atiba in a Tag Team Match against Isiah Kassidy and Matt Hardy. The match, which was taped prior to last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, saw Manny Lemons and Atiba come up short against Isiah Kassidy and Matt Hardy.
Several other Indie wrestlers have appeared on both AEW and WWE programming over the past year or so, with Manny Lemons being the sixth competitor to do so. The first-ever Indie wrestler to appear on AEW and WWE programming on the same night is Kelsey Heather, who did so in July of 2021, while the first-ever Indie star to wrestle for both companies on the same night is Cameron Stewart, who did so on the September 21st, 2021 episodes of WWE NXT and AEW Dark. The latest instance an independent star pulled double duty was when Katie Arquette wrestle on both WWE RAW and AEW Dark: Elevation in August 2022.
