Jake Atlas Reportedly Suffers An Injury At Rampage Tapings

All Elite Wrestling held TV Tapings for tonight’s episode of Rampage immediately after last Wednesday night’s TBS premiere episode of Dynamite from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Atlas took on Adam Cole in Singles action and fans in attendance have said that Atlas “blew out his knee” and he has appeared to have legitimately suffered an injury during the match.

PWInsider.com reports that the injury took place when Atlas was trying to hit a springboard move from the ropes into the ring and after being hit by Cole with a superkick, Atlas hurt his knee coming down and began clutching it. The report also states that Atlas was having problems getting up as they were preparing for the Panama Sunrise finisher, which is the reason why Cole didn’t hit his Panama Sunrise finisher and just ended up putting Atlas in a kneebar submission.

There is no word yet on the severity of Atlas’ injury, but updates will be provided as it’s been made available. Jake Atlas signed his AEW contract shortly after his debut match against Serpentico on AEW Dark.
