Janela Responds To Fan Saying AEW Should Pay Talents Better

One of AEW’s most unique and unorthodox star in Joey Janela recently took to Twitter as he responded to a fan who said that AEW should pay their talents enough to not do Indie shows for a year as Indie shows is the exact opposite of any situation that is safe for Covid.

The fan tweeted,

“Can’t you just pay your guys enough to not do Indy shows for a year? An indy show is the exact opposite of any situation that is safe for Covid.”

Janela then told the fan that he wasn’t doing Indie shows for the money, he was doing the shows for the ring time and the love for the business. He also said that his paycheck in AEW is more than enough and that he would have done Indies for free.

Joey Janela responded with,

“Moron I wasn’t doing indie shows for the money I was doing it for the ring time and the love for the business, my paycheck is more than enough, and would’ve done Indies for free…. I’ve really had enough of this app”

AEW pulled Joey Janela from this past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite due to him being exposed to someone who had COVID-19 at a recent Indie event.
